The current website was created by the Fall 2007 CS340 Internet Programming class after reviewing feedback from a faculty survey and three faculty focus groups which convened in the Summer of 2007. Devon Hubner, the instructor, Angela Yang, and I assisted the students in their efforts. Based on the pilot, additional features were added that included forums, blogs, calendars, surveys, evaluations, agency input and event management. Improvements in the structure of the site were made primarily by recreating the site using Drupal.

Students from the Internet Programming CS340 class developed http://sl-old.keene.edu based in input from the Keene State College Service Learning Implementation Team and Polly Chandler, the current Service-Learning Coordinator in Fall 2005. First site was created using HTML, PHP and Javascript. The pedagogical method we termed "rising to the top": first, each individual developed a site look and feel as a homework assignment (HW04).
