Cedarcrest Center for Children with Disabilities

Address:
91 Maple Avenue, Keene, NH 03431

Cedarcrest provides a healthy and safe environment where children with complex, special needs can grow and develop to their fullest potential. Our setting is calm and comfortable and the children are surrounded by caring, dedicated staff who encourage and nurture each child every moment of the day.

What sets Cedarcrest apart from other pediatric nursing facilities is that it is first and foremost a home brimming with love for the children in our care. From the cozy bedrooms and sunlit day room to the open, colorful classrooms, Cedarcrest is filled with children’s artwork, jess halloween handmade quilts, toys, birds, music and special friends.

Parents, guardians and extended family play major roles on the child's care team. With guidance from staff, parents identify and develop goals for their child’s stay.

An annual Total Plan of Care is developed, synthesizing the input of the family, child’s pediatrician, Cedarcrest team members, local school and area developmental disabilities agency. This team reviews each child’s medical, therapeutic, education, and socialization goals and progress indicators. Quarterly reviews of this plan are scheduled to assure that the child's full potential is realized.
