COMM 380: Analysis of Organizations In this class, students worked on a service-learning research project with a program of Monadnock Developmental Services (MDS). In collaboration with the MDS partner program, the class carried out a research project using ethnographic methods to describe, explain and understand the culture of the program. Students learned about organizational communication approaches and theories, ethnography and organizational culture. They conducted observations, in-depth interviews and engaged in archival analysis. The class wrote a final report and formally presented their findings to the client at the end of the semester.
